FOMC Minutes Released, Q3 Earnings Begin

Earnings season kicked off with JPM, BLK, and DAL releasing earnings today alongside the minutes from the latest Federal Open Market Committee meeting. U.S. indices snapped a multi-day losing streak as S&P and Nasdaq closed in the green while the Dow finished flat. Currently, the VIX is trading near the $19 level, gold futures and the dollar are trading lower, while oil futures continue to rise. The start of the earnings season is the main event that can influence the next move in the market: BAC, C, and TSM are key earnings announcements this week that can potentially influence the market direction. Please watch the critical support levels on the SPY at $434 and then at $428 as the bottoming process continues; the $TLT started to rebound and should provide support for the technology stocks and the $SPY.
